Corpus Christi Event
Sunday, June 2 at 10am
Mark your calendars for this special Corpus Christi/Boze Cialo Mass and procession.
On this solemn Sunday there will be only one Mass at 10am.
This Mass will be in English and Polish.
At the end of Mass a procession will take place with the Blessed Sacrament around the grounds of the church, stopping at four outdoor altars where special prayers will be said and Benediction will take place.
As we move from altar to altar we will be led in sacred song by The Kielbasa kings.
After the final Benediction there will be a picnic style lunch in the hall with delicious grilled foods prepared by
Frank n Deans Catering.
The Kielbasa Kings will continue to provide music in the hall after the procession.

Reverend Don LaCuesta, appointed Moderator and a member of the In Solidum team of priests who pastor Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, Lincoln Park; Our Lady of the Scapular Parish, Wyandotte; St. Pius X Parish, Southgate; St. Vincent Pallotti Parish, Wyandotte, that form Central Downriver Family of Parishes, effective July 1, 2024.
Pending inclusion in the Family Priests' Covenant, Father LaCuesta will live and serve primarily at St. Pius X Parish, Southgate. Father LaCuesta currently serves as a member of the In Solidum team of priests who pastor Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, Temperance; St. Joseph Parish, Erie; St. Anthony Parish, Temperance, that form Lumen Christi Family of Parishes.
